Engineering & Design

Building and constructing structural elements made of plastics is an high technology specialty. for which estimation do not exist any or just a few accepted codes of practice and regulations exist, and must be applied correctly.

Structural Calculations

Every project is designed and executed with special attention and utmost care of the client. A project from conception to execution goes through several stages of Calculations and certification, according to its complexity. After the concept is finalized, the project reaches its Structural Engineering phase. Here, the PMMA is analysed purely as a Structural entity that is capable of transferring loads around to the designed supporting structures, as well as to withstand other loads applied on it in case of worst-case scenario. This analysis is done purely out of mathematical Calculations, and environmental conditions, in order to provide very reliable and solid acrylic system, with the highest safety standards. All our calculations are done on the base of the most updated regulations, including but not limited to ASME PVHO-1.

For each project, a set of Shop Drawings, Installation Drawings and FEA calculation is duly generated and shared with the customer. BIM design integration/coordination, is provided as well in order to facilitate the development of a specific project.

SHOP DRAWINGS AND INSTALLATION DRAWINGS

The resultant of high-level engineering will be generating shop drawings and site installation drawings for site execution, the process includes Revit Modelling, Architectural Rendering, and elements visualizing in coordination with all adjacent items and surroundings

Finite Elements Analysis (FEA)

Finite element analysis (FEA) is the use of calculations, models and simulations to predict and understand how an object might behave under various physical conditions. Engineers use FEA analysis to find vulnerabilities in their design prototypes, and provide the highest safety condition in roder to apply CLAX PMMA to an underwater environment under the regulation of Pressure vessels for human occupancy.

As the PMMA is structural element, we study the element in details including the simulation in a working condition, under the effects of external factor such as heart quake, animal impact, wind etc..
